Amy Adams Stuns At The Los Angeles Premiere of ‘Arrival’

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]my Adams arrived in head-turning glamorous style for her Los Angeles premiere of Paramount Pictures’ Arrival at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, CA last night (November 7, 2016.) She was joined by husband Darren Le Gallo, who married Amy in May of last year after dating for 15 years, and co-stars Jeremy Renner and Abigail Pniowsky.

But it was definitely Adams in the spotlight as the five-time Oscar-nominee arrived in style wearing a one-shoulder, heavily embroidered floor-length gown that featured sequined designs and a thigh-high slit. She paired her dress with black, open-toe heels, studded earrings and multiple rings.

In an interview with the LA Times, Adams reveals her thoughts about her role in the film as a linguist haunted by unexplained feelings who must learn to communicate with aliens in order to prevent a global catastrophe. “She’s not heroic in the traditional sense,” Adams said of her character. Adams further reveals that she studied linguistics and relied on her acting coach to dissect some of the film’s psychological inner-workings, but still, is lost when it comes to the films deeper meanings. “It’s funny when people start challenging me about it,” Adams said, of the movie’s internal logic. “If I were able to explain how the science of this film works, I would not be an actress.”
