Beverly Hills Gala Benefit Honors Joan Collins

Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies (ABCs) hosted their annual star-studded Talk of the Town black-tie gala last night (November 19, 2016) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, CA.

Honorees at the event were award-winning actress, author, producer and entrepreneur Joan Collins. Collins received the Spirit of Entertainment Award. Award Academy award-winning actress, director and author Angelica Houston was honored with the Spirit of Hollywood Award and Marcel Loh, chief executive of Providence St. John’s Health Center and John Wayne Cancer Institute was awarded with the Spirit of Hope Award.

The pop-rock band, The Bangles, performed at the event and the gala included a luxury boutique with a silent and live auction.

In addition to Joan Collins and Anjelica Huston, other celebrity attendees included Donna Mills, Dania Ramirez,  Emmanuelle Vaugier, Crystal Hunt, Michael and Patrick Wayne and many others.

The ABCs was formed 27 years ago and wanted to devote all their charitable efforts and resources to eradicating cancer and unanimously chose to support progressive and innovative breast cancer and prostate cancer research at the John Wayne Cancer Institute. Since 1990, they have raised more than $14 million.
