Photos – Paramount Pictures’ “Annihilation” Premieres in Westwood

The star power of the film’s leading ladies was evident at the premiere of Paramount Picture’s “Annihilation” held in Westwood on Tuesday evening (February 13, 2018). The cast including Natalie Portman and Gina Rodriguez lit up the black carpet with their gorgeous choice in gowns. Academy Award Winner, Portman, looked stunning in a black gown with a plunging neckline while Jane The Virgin star, Rodriguez, shimmered in a sparkling blue and bronze sleeveless gown.

About the film:

The film directed by Alex Garland and is based on Jeff  VanderMeer’s best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy, Annihilation stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac. It was written and directed by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, 28 Days Later).

Lena (Natalie Portman), a biologist and former soldier, joins a mission to uncover what happened to her husband inside Area X – a sinister and mysterious phenomenon that is expanding across the American coastline. Once inside, the expedition discovers a world of mutated landscape and creatures, as dangerous as it is beautiful, that threatens both their lives and their sanity.

Annihilation is in theaters February 23, 2018.
